How to get that Pottery Barn finish on Dark wood

The first thing you have to do is lightly sand the piece you want to refinish. You will then need to clean the piece with TSP, link here. The next step is to use the All in One paint in Tapestry. I use this paint because you don't have to sand your piece, it is an "all in one" paint. Get it here. I didn't go heavy on the paint for this project, but I will for the next, because the glaze will do it's thing and give it the look I want.

After you finish painting, I like to go over it again with a light sanding, and more TSP. When fully dry, you can apply your glaze. Get it here. You will need a deck stain brush, like this one Here. You'll also need a dry brush like this one here. You will lightly apply the glaze with your deck brush and then go over the glaze with the dry brush. The glaze needs at least 8 hours to dry. When you're all done apply a poly. I used this one here. I put a light layer on and then waited 2 hours, I lightly sanded and wiped in between putting coats on. I did 4 coats.
