My absolute favorite holiday to decorate for is Christmas. Each year I try to create an atmosphere that screams love, warmth, and home.
The very first thing you want to do is to think of your color scheme. Think about what you have to use, and what things you want on your tree that mean something to you. For me, I have some colorful handmade ornaments that my grandmother made, so I'm going with red to compliment those ornaments. I'm also going to incorporate some buffalo check. I like to take the top of the tree and decorate that first. I take my florist wire and attach all my picks and spray to the top. Affiliate link:
The next thing you're going to want to do is pick out your spray and picks in the color scheme of your choice.
Pick a couple that look fun!
The very next step to all of this is to pick a ribbon in your choice of color. For me, I used buffalo check and burlap to give me a fun vibe. Take that ribbon and wire and try to make a bunch of loops that you'll put in to fill space in between your picks and spray.
